A film and media graduate from Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, Sascha has been working in visual effects since 2006. Sascha has a flair for combining practical and digital elements, building assets in a digital environment and creating absorbing worlds. He has performed roles as a Compositing Artist and VFX Supervisor, although he is best known for his work as a VFX Producer.
Sacha has vast experience working as both a production side and a facility side VFX Producer, and has worked on both television and film productions.
Sascha’s most recent credited work include Vienna Blood (season 1&2 - directed by Robert Dornhelm), where he was a production side supervising VFX Producer supervising on set and supplying more than 200 shots for season 1. Previously, Sascha handled all aspects of visual effects for Life, a 6-part drama produced by Drama Republic for the BBC. He was responsible for the vending of 330 shots. Sascha also produced a visual effects breakdown on two scripts, and helped The Forge Entertainment navigate the bidding process for STARZ costume drama series Becoming Elizabeth. Other productions Sascha has worked on in the last five years include: Gangs of London (Pulse Films for SKY & AMC) and Black Earth Rising (Drama Republic for BBC / Netflix).
